Eva Louise Cope, 86, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda.
Eva was born February 27, 1923 in Tracey City, Tennessee and moved to Punta Gorda 60 years ago from Tennessee. She was a member of the Upper Room Church of God in Arcadia, FL. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt and will be missed, but not forgotten.
Survived by four daughters, Dotty Schoolcraft of Port Charlotte, Patty Drew of Punta Gorda, Linda Haney of Indianapolis , IN, Trixie Comfort of Braselton, GA; two Brothers David Johnson and Jimmy Johnson both of Tracey City, TN; a sister, Mary Laman of Orlando, FL. 9 grandchildren, Paul Schoolcraft, Rev. George Schoolcraft, Jason Drew, Robert Haney, Jr., Shellie Eads, Chris Haney, Kim Lloyd, Michelle Comfort, Michael Comfort, Jr.; 22 great grandchildren, Eva Joy Schoolcraft, Ester Schoolcraft, Gadriel Schoolcraft, Catherine Schoolcraft, Carisa Schoolcraft, Lydia Schoolcraft, Wessley Schoolcraft, Megan Drew, Megan Haney, Brandon Haney, Jessica Shelton, Melissa Eads, Joshua Eads, Micah Eads, Kassi Haney, Hannah Lloyd, Lydia Lloyd, Ruth Lloyd, Levi Lloyd, Victoria Comfort, Hannah Comfort, Noah Comfort; 1 great great grandchild, Lyrics Noel Shelton; Many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her husband, George L.
