Florence Evelyn Zeno, 100, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 19, 2018.

Florence was born December 15, 1917 in New York, New York. She employed by the Police Department of the New York City Transit Authority and after her retirement she moved to the Virgin Isles where she worked for Eddie, her beloved adopted son. She was a member of Community Life Center of Port Charlotte.

Nana, as she was affectionately called, was well traveled. She visited Europe. Hawaii, St. Croix and her favorite places, Bermuda and Spain. Nana loved to go to church and show her love for everyone.  She was always nurturing, showing compassion, no matter who it was. She always expressed agape love towards everyone she came in touch with.

She is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Dolores Hinton of Palm Bay, FL; a granddaughter, Crystal Parsons of Port Charlotte; a grandson, Anthony Bishop of Palm Bay, FL; 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 AM, Feb. 23, 2018 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
