Fr. Anthony Chinh Dinh Ngo, 67, formerly of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at his residence in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Born in Rach Gia, Vietnam on October 15, 1958, he was one of seven children born to Hieu Dinh Ngo and Tham Thi Do. He was a member of the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky, and continued service to God in the Port Charlotte community.
Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tan Dinh Ngo, he is survived by five siblings, three sisters, Phuong Lan Thi Ngo, Thi Thi Ngo, and Hang Thi Ngo, and two brothers, Lenh Dinh Ngo, and Dien Ngo, their extended families and many friends.
A visitation will be held from 5pm to 6pm followed by funeral prayer service at 6pm for Fr. Chinh this Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Roberson Funeral Home located at 2151 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte, Florida 33948. Further services and a funeral Mass will be held for Fr. Chinh in Louisville, Kentucky before he is returned to his native Vietnam for final services and burial.
