FRANK O. BRAGANTIN, 90, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Friday, June 20, 2014.
He was born June 12, 1924 in Bristol Rhode, Island to the late Joseph and Mary Bragantin and moved to Port Charlotte 24 years ago from Swansea, Massachusetts. Frank was a retired oil burner serviceman and a veteran of World War II, U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survived by his loving family, two daughters, Gertrude M. Pavao and Debra A. Paiva both of Swansea, MA; two sons, Frank O. Bragantin, Jr. of Swansea, MA and Joseph F. Bragantin of New Bedford, MA; two sisters, Mary Barbour and Lydia Carreiro both of Bristol, RI; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen R. Bragantin and a brother, Joseph O. Bragantin.
Visitation will be held Monday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, June 23, 2014 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM, June 24, 2014 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Port Charlotte. Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be held later in Swansea, MA.
