FRANK WILLIAM CROWDER, JR., 69, of North Port, Florida died
Friday, December 1, 2006 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, FL
He was born November 14, 1937 in Peachland, North Carolina and moved
to North Port 4 years ago from Barnesville, Georgia. He was a retired E-7 Sergeant First Class from the U.S. Army after 27 years of service. After retirement he was a high school electronics teacher. Member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Port Charlotte, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6003, Jonesboro, GA. Frank loved bowling and fishing. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Kate Crowder of North Port; seven daughters,
Hazel Crowder of Georgia, Tami Crowder of North Port, Angie Fravert of North
Port , Brenda Thompson of Williamson, GA; Donna Moore of Atlanta, GA,
Diane Licari of Moorhead City, NC and Kathryn Bookout of Hiram, GA; two sons,
John Drake of Birmingham, AL and Gary Woodall of Carrollton, GA; 37 grandchildren
and 4 great grandchildren.
