Frank Howland Shaver, age 60, a resident of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Pembroke, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at his Port Charlotte residence.
Frank was born to Frank C. and Carolyn A. Shaver, on February 13, 1958, in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating from high school, Frank took an innate, keen mechanical aptitude, and began a long career with the Gillette Company. During these years, Frank met his future wife and the love of his life, Brenda, thru a friend of his who also happened to be Brenda’s’ roommate. The two eventually married one another in 1989. Frank and Brenda moved from Pembroke to Port Charlotte in 2005, when Frank took an early disability retirement from the Gillette Company. Among Franks favorite pastimes, was playing cards with his friends, boating, and taking his Harley-Davidson motorcycle out for long relaxing rides.
Frank is survived by his loving mother, Carolyn A. Shaver of New Hampshire. He was preceded in death by his father, and in 2010, his beloved wife of 21 years, Brenda J. Shaver.
A celebration of life service will be held for Frank in Weymouth, Massachusetts, at a later date.
