Gerald was born to Vincent and Letha Palmieri on November 1, 1925 in New York, New York. Gerald was a WWII veteran who served proudly in the U.S. Army. He was an over the road semi-truck driver for many years. He enjoyed watching television especially his favorite game shows and wrestling. Gerald was a good man who kept to himself and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Survivors include his son, Gerald Palmieri of Port Charlotte; his daughter, Geraldine Cassels of Stony Point, NY; his brother, James Palmieri of Beverly Hills, FL; 5 grandchildren, Gina, Christopher, Brandon, Shannon and Theresa and 5 great-grandchildren, Jace, Chloe, Danaka, Hannah and Cole. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Palmieri.
Inurnment will be held by the family at a later date at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
