Gordon was born January 19, 1925 in Mt. Lake Park, Maryland and moved to Punta Gorda in 1991 from Fredericksburg, VA. He was a WWII veteran serving proudly for the US Marine Corp. He was a Drill Sergeant in Paris Island at the age of 17 year old. He was a good man and will be missed by all who loved and knew him. Semper Fi.
He is survived by his loving children, two daughters, Carolyn L. Lahocki of Chelsea, OK and Olive C. Van Horn of Fredericksburg, VA; two sons, Warren E. Gnegy of Punta Gorda, FL, and Fredlock A. Gnegy of Stanton, VA; a sister, Nina Keefer of Kingwood, WVA; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
