GRACE E. BYRNES, 89, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Tuesday, June 5, 2005
at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte.

She was born July 22, 1917 in New York, NY and moved to Brandon, Florida
from Northport, Long Island, NY and then to Port Charlotte 2 ½ years ago. She was a member of the Nativity Catholic Church of Brandon and attended San Antonio Catholic Church of Port Charlotte.

Survived by her loving family, a daughter, Susanne Shields of Naples, FL;a step-daughter, Diane DeVito of Ringwood, NJ;four sons, John Keane of Brooksville, FL, Walter Keane of Port Charlotte, FL,
Richard Keane of Hobe Sound, FL and Robert Keane of New York, NY; 3 step-sons,
Robert Byrnes of Booth Bay Harbor, ME, Donald Byrnes of
Palm Coast, FL and George Byrnes of San Francisco, CA;
27 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren, 1 great great granchild.

Visitation will be held Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Roberson Funeral Home Port
Charlotte Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 10 AM, June 11, 2007 at San Antonio Catholic Church, Port Charlotte. Interment will be at a later date in Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
