Gregory William Muller, 61, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. Gregory, more commonly known as “Greg” and “Superman” to a select few, was born October 10, 1951 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Greg lived the majority of his life in Cape May County, New Jersey before moving to Southwest Florida in 1999 with his wife Lisa. A retired police officer and U.S. Army veteran, he was also an avid fisherman and boater, golf pro in his own mind and a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Survived by his loving family, his wife of 26 years, Lisa D. Muller; two daughters, Pamela H. Stoeckel and Melissa D. Muller (also lovingly known by their father as “Sissy Missy” and “Chicken Pam”); two sisters Marilyn Parsons and Margie Pearson; two brothers Charles G. Muller Jr. and John F. Muller; two granddaughters, Fallyn and Skye Stoeckel and his beloved hound dog Tally-ho. Greg was predeceased by his parents and his younger sister Virginia Goodrich.

Memorial services will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, October 18th at Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel.

My condolenses to the Muller family. I had the opportunity to work with Greg and the two of us shared a house together in EHT. Greg had an infectious laugh and he got everyone laughing with that laugh. I was so shocked to hear this very sad news. I was a Police Records Clerk from 89-98, and enjoyed working with Gregg so much ! He always had a way of making you laugh no matter how bad your day was. My prayers go out to Lisa and family. God Bless
