Mrs. Helen M. Hinebaugh, 87, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away Saturday night, December 13, 2008 at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte.

Helen was born Helen M. O’Neal to the late Mr. and Mrs. William L. and Edith T. (nee-Deist) O’Neal, on September 18, 1921 in Columbus, Ohio. Helen, a retired Pharmacist’s aide for Columbus’s state run facility for Mentally Challanged Youth, relocated to Port Charlotte from her native Columbus in 1981. She was of the Episcopal faith.

Helen is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Carol S. and Vaughn Destefanis of Port Charlotte, FL; six grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clifford E. Hinebaugh in 1967, and over the years, her brothers and sisters.
