Born September 19, 1916 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Helen, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, was an active member of the Perth Amboy Chapter of the Eastern Star, and the R.C.W. Ocean Community Church in Manahawkin, New Jersey. Helen moved from her native New Jersey to Punta Gorda in 2002 with her husband Albert.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Joseph Mehok of Punta Gorda; four grandchildren, grandson, Joseph, and granddaughter, Kristine Mehok, and grandsons Scott and Kurt DiLemma; and two great grandsons, Brandon and Tyler DiLemma. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Albert Thorsen in 2004, and a daughter, Linda in 2006.
A private memorial celebration for Helen will be held. Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Homes & Crematory Punta Gorda Chapel.
