He was born June 12, 1933 in Mineola, New York and moved to Florida in 1980 from Freeport, New York. Henry was a retired marine engine mechanic for Flagship Marine of Punta Gorda and a avid NACAR fan. He served 20 years in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Viet Nam War.
He was survived by a daughter, Deborah Baker of Magalia, CA; two sons, Richard D. Fileman of
Orville, CA and Scott Patrick (Katherine) Fileman of Fort Myers, FL; a brother Thomas G. (Joan) Fileman of Punta Gorda; 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Fannie Fileman who passed away in 2009.
