Henry “Heinz” K. Maksymowicz, 74, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away December 30^th, 2022, at Shore point Hospital, Port Charlotte, Florida.  He was born on February 28^th , 1948, in Erlangen, Germany to the late Minna F. (nee Viertel) and Schuhmacher Maksymowicz.

Heinz Enjoyed his Florida home full time after he sold his home in Chicago. He enjoyed his friends, the beach, the weather, his pet cat, Bella, and his bird, Toby. Heinz loved animals. He enjoyed bike riding just like his mother did, known as the bike lady in her Chicago neighborhood. Heinz enjoyed many different business endeavors, some of which allowed him to travel the world. His good-hearted spirit will be cherished by all of us, especially by his friends and family.

Henry is survived by his siblings, Ursula Pohl (late Herbert) of Flemington, New Jersey, Lothar (Helga) Koschik, Palos Hills, IL; and fond uncle of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.  Honorable Veteran of the United States Army.

A Memorial Service will be held at Roberson Funeral Home Punta Gorda Chapel on Saturday February 4^th, 2023, at 11 am.
