Idis was born to Monserate and Candida Rivera on September 10, 1937 in Puerto Rico. Idis was a beautiful person with a huge heart. She worked for many years building books at a book publishing company. Her enjoyments were her family and friends and cooking. Idis will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her loving children, Iris Rivera-Guerra of Port Charlotte, Marixsa Perez of MA and her son, Francisco Rivera, Jr. of Port Charlotte; 3 sisters, Maria Robles and Ada Rodriguez both of North Port, FL and Esther Rosado of R.I.; her brother, Hector Rivera of Lakeland, FL; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held 8:30AM-9:30AM, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Graveside service and entombment will follow at 10:00AM at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
