Hi, my name is Gianna Bynum and I am currently 13 years old. I had moved to Florida when I was 2 and Imogene was my next door neighbor who i loved very dearly. I stayed in Florida most of my life and lived next to Imogene alot. As I grew up I would visit her house all the time and help her with her pups and the stray cats she would feed at night time. I loved Imogene dearly and I wish I could have another hug from her. She was truly an amazing sweet lady. I thank her for teaching me so much when I was so little.

Dear Mom Imogene I will always cherish the time we spent outside in your backyard in the late winter & early spring of 2021. I loved listening about when you were a teacher and I could tell how passionate you were about your field of education just by the stories alone. All of your stories were funny and they always involved your past students who you had taught because clearly you knew who they were. My favorite story is when your students took you on a field trip to a little island off the coast of Maine. You were laughing with delight as you were recalling this story because you did not realize that this field trip you let your students take you on meant procuring a boat to transport your classroom to this island which you said was very beautiful. The afternoon's we spent with Sandy & Beauty outside in your backyard are some of the most sweetest memories I will always cherish. We got to talk about other things like your family history which I found fascinating 💖 Imogene as a mother in law you could not have been more gracious & welcoming to me & Carly & Tim when John and I first met and I thank you for that. You were and are a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and one hell of a Baker I Love you mama Imogene and may you be running thru a field of daisy with Ed, David, & Duke

Imogene was a wonderful person. And an amazing baker. One of my favorite memories was of her baking. To this day my favorite was her pumpkin bread. Sadly I haven't been able to see her in the last few years and I wish I could be there for the funeral I will try and come over to Port Charlotte as soon as I get a free day off work to say my goodbye
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
