JAMES PATRICK CONNELLY, III, 52, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care, Port Charlotte.

He was born August 11, 1955 in New Haven, Connecticut and moved to Port Charlotte in 1983 from Ridgefield, CT. James was a pharmacist at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Port Charlotte.

Survived by his loving wife, Maria Del Castillo Connelly of Port Charlotte; a son, James Patrick Connelly IV of Port Charlotte; his father, James Patrick (step mother -Josephine) Connelly, Jr. of Ridgefield, CT. a brother Joseph(wife-Melinda) Connelly of Wilton, CT; Three sisters Elizabeth(husband- Ron ) Greenman of Monticello, FL, Mary (husband- ED ) Ronan of Brookfield, CT, Faith Connelly of Monticello,FL; three step sisters, Joanne(husband- Jim ) Moore of Litchfield, CT, Diane Michaelsen of Naugatuck, CT, Nancy Burke of Milford, CT, step brother, Arthur(wife-Julia ) Michaelsen of Danbury,CT; mother in law, Lucy DelCastillo of Port Charlotte; a brother in law, Rob(Agnes) DelCastillo of Port Charlotte; Brother in law, Ed(wife-Katty DelCastillo of Port Charlotte; Nieces and nephews, David, Laura, Sara, Marcos, Eddie, Ivette, Tim, Nicole, Brian, Chris, Patrick, Steve, Darcy, Maggie, Tommy, Jimmy, Margaret, Nathan, Katrina, Nicholas, Mathew, Bridget, Tess, Trey And a host of friends and co workers at Fawcett Memorial Hospital and Peace River Regional Medical Center; Preceded in death by his mother and brother, Anne Connelly and Thomas J.
