James Flayler
January 29, 1928 - January 13, 2009

Mr. James P. (Jim) Flayler, 80, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away Tuesday morning, January 13, 2009 at his Punta Gorda residence.

Jim was born on January 29, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan. A veteran of World War II, United States Army and a retired manufacture representative for prototype automobile parts, Jim lived in Waterford, Michigan until relocating to Punta Gorda in 2003.

Jim is survived by his beloved sons, James C. Flayler and son James longtime significant other Pamela Jackson, both of Winter Park, FL, and Adam G. Flayler of Punta Gorda; a sister, Jacquelyn Moon of Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, and grandson, Jackson Tomzewski of Hilton Head, SC. Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice Lillian Flayler, in 1991.
