James N. Molitor, Sr., 79, of Port Charlotte, Florida, Devoted Husband, Loving Father, Grandfather & Great Grandfather went to share his rewards with the Lord on Saturday, June 02, 2012.
James was an award winning custom home builder and land developer in the Chicago, Illinois area for over 35 years. Many of his clients were second & third generations of his original clients. James’ Family always came first and his needs always came second.
His focus on Family values normally resulted in Family parties in excess of 35 people. He reminded us daily of his love for all of his Family and Friends and his loving Chihuahuas Pepe and Little Bit. After a very rewarding career in construction, James semi-retired to the Port Charlotte area in 1992 with his Wife.
James’ surviving Family consists of his loving wife of 60 plus years, Joann Marie; loving sons James N Molitor, Jr (Monica) of Florida and Jeremy Shane Molitor of Illinois; loving daughters Linda Sue Molitor and Lisa Marie Molitor of Florida. Brothers Don, Ron, Peter, and Tom of Illinois and Robert of Nevada. Sisters Mary of Wisconsin, Marge, Pam and Norma of Illinois. He was preceded in death by his daughter Lori Ann Molitor, sister Shirley and his Parents Peter and Myrtle Molitor and Great Grandson Gage Williams.
James is also survived by several grandchildren; Joann Johnson, Brittannie Carrender, Kristen Nicole Williams and Branden James Nicholas Trevino of Illinois, and Heather Jean Skowronski and Brendan Kuhr, Brieyice Molitor, Blaiaine Nicholas Molitor, James Nicholas Molitor III and Christopher Molitor all of Florida. James was also blessed with several great children; Zoe, Venus and Zane Skowronski of Florida. Jordan, Juliet and Jeremiah Johnson of Illinois, Triston, Preston and Kaedon Williams, and Briella Lyn-Marie Carrender of Illinois; and Charles Richard Williams and Preston Wayne Molitor, both of Florida. He was affectionately called PaPa by all of his Grandchildren and Great Children. He is additionally survived by nephews Peter Paul Molitor III (Kathy), Jon Molitor (Jessica), Jeff Molitor, Greg Molitor (Lynn) and Ron Molitor Of Illinois; and nieces: Jennifer Bergmann (Tom), Rhonda Stiefbold, Sharon Johnson and Lori Raines of Illinois. He will also be dearly missed by his friends Charlie Savage, Kenny Thompson of Florida and all who were honored to be a part of his life as Friends in Illinois and Florida.
James was a member of St Charles Borromeo Church, the Moose Lodge, Knights of Columbus and the Elks Club and H2U Organizations of Port Charlotte, FL.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with Evening Wake service at 6:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 7, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, both in Port Charlotte. A Memorial service will be held 10 am. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Annunciation B.V.M. Catholic Church in Aurora, Illinois.
