Jason P. Barry, 31, of Venice, Florida passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at his home.

Jason was born November 15, 1979 in Louisville, Kentucky and moved to Venice in June of 2011 from Mount Washington, KY. He was a astonishing man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching sports such as basketball, football and his favorite football team the University of Kentucky. However, his most essential person in his life was his son. He will be missed exceedingly by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his son, Gavin M. Barry of Bardstown, KY; his parents, Phillip and Linda Barry of Punta Gorda, FL; his sister, Jennifer L. Ducey of Venice, FL; his grandfather, Harold L. Barry of Mount Washington, KY; his favorite nieces, Alex and Breana Ducey of Venice, FL and several uncles and aunts.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM, Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date by the family.
