She was born April 22, 1924 in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Port Charlotte in 1974 from East Meadow, NY. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, who will be missed but not forgotten by family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Peter Sulyma of Madison, AL; a sister, Theresa Borny of Port Charlotte; two grandsons, Richard Sulyma and Christopher Sulyma; two great grandchildren Chase Sulyma and Kennedy Sulyma. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Peter Sulyma; and two sons, George Sulyma and John Sulyma, and second husband, George Vessa
Entombment and committal service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, April 20, 2012 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte. There will be a memorial mass immediately following at 11:00 AM Friday, April 20, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Rev. James Cogan will officiate.
