John was born June 18, 1947, in Streator, Illinois to the late Mary (Gallette) and George Herbert. He loved the water and was a Boat Captain and Commercial Fisherman. John & Sandra met in Boca Grande, Florida in 1961. John married Sandra on January 2, 1965 and had two children.
Survived by his wife Sandra (Peyton) Bylaska of Port Charlotte; daughter, Cheryl Renee Sands of Port Charlotte, Florida; Son, John Bylaska, of Port Charlotte, Florida; brother Phillip Bylaska, of Lakeland, FL ; Grand Children, Dannielle and spouse Charles Gerber, Dustin Sands and spouse Kacey Plummer and Dylan Sands and spouse Amy, Great Grandchildren; Marilyn, Lillian, Kane & Eli Gerber, and LilyAnn & Lewis Sands.
