Hi dad, I keep finding myself here, even though every time I scroll down and see your picture I am still so surprised to see you there. But yet I feel closer to you here. I want you to know I appreciate all the sacrifices you made for us and how hard you worked all your life. I am so happy we got to know you these past 11 years. You were on your own page in life and didn't care what anyone thought. You were a amazing person and everyone loved you but only a certain six got to call you dad. So happy I was one of them. It was hard during the holidays, I wanted to call you a million times and tell you stories of my girls or Rodney being cheap or my daily work stuff. I am thankful for the time and the relationship we had but still want more. I love you dad and I miss you daily!!!!

Dad, you were not only a great father but also a great father in law and grandfather. I will miss our daily chats. I know I drove you crazy by calling everyday, but I just wanted to hear your voice and make you laugh till you choked. You were not just my dad you were my friend. You helped me with all the cars and household items when Rod deployed. It did not matter that you did not live with me. I called and you helped me get thru it. Thank you for all the advice on my girls. Thank you for fighting so hard for us. I know you are with mom now and I am happy for you, but sad for me. Until we meet again dad, please know that I will miss you everyday and I love you dearly.

Dear Scott and Jill, There are no words to ease your sadness. Jack will always live in your hearts and memories. If you could have given him a choice of ways, to take that final step in the dance of life, he would probably have chosen the way he went. May that thought bring you comfort and peace. We, in the neighborhood, will miss seeing his smile. He was always optomistic and gave others a happy feeling. Sincerely, Vi
