John Francis Criscione,75, died on December 5, 2023, at Tidwell Hospice Inc. in Port Charlotte, Florida.

John was born in Bronx, New York on December 2, 1948, to the late Santa and Joseph Criscione. John graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in New York and attended engineering school. He lived most of his life in Bronx, New York and went on to work for New York Telephone Company from 1968 to retirement in 2007. John met his true love  Carol(Margiotta) in 1971  and married in 1974. John and Carol had two children, Joseph was born in 1975 and Melissa in 1978.

John moved to Port Charlotte, Florida in 2008 with his wife Carol. He  was a big sports fan and enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and  wrestling with his son. John enjoyed playing cards with his friends, but most of all he loved his wife and family. He was a devoted Dad and Husband and will be greatly missed.

John is survived by his wife Carol, son Joseph Criscione and daughter Melissa(Husband, Steve) Tuberman, sister, Rosemarie(Husband, Paul), brother Enrico(Wife, Maria), also many Nieces, Nephews, and cousins. John was preceded in death by his brother’s Joseph and Salvatore Criscione.

A visitation will be held on Saturday December 9, 2023, from 1 pm to 2pm at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel followed by a Memorial Service at 2 pm.
