JOHN KURILLA, 87, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Friday, May 30, 2008 at his residence .

He was born January 10, 1921 in Nesquehoning,Pennsylvania and moved to Port Charlotte in 1982 from Roselle Park, New Jersey. He was a retired
electronic engineer for Westinghouse Company. He was a Veteran of WW II serving in the US Army. Member of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, American Legion Post #110 both of Port Charlotte

Survived by his two daughters, Diane Kurilla of Park Ridge, NJ and Carole Kurilla of Port Charlotte; a brother Steve Kurilla of Southgate, MI.

Dad, I will always and forever miss you until we are together again in the Lord's Kingdom. You and mom got to paradise before I did. I know you are at peace and hanging out with other family and friends up there. I love you both dearly and always will. GOD bless you my father, my dad. Junior misses you also. He started shedding a bit since you left so don't tell mom 'cause she would not like the fact of dog hairs in the house! Carole

Mr.John Kurilla, though we haven't met,and you left physically this crowded Earth. Carole should be thankful for she's gaining an ally up there. And for the Kurilla Family my sincere condolences. Our prayers are with you. May you all overcome the sorrow especilly in this time of bereavement.

John, I wish I could have thanked you for all the care and interest you shared about me and my family. I really appreciated your support in my times of need and the wise words you shared with me. You are a perfect example of what everyone should accomplish in life. Someone who fights for his country, his family and helps enrich the lives of those around him. You will be missed and you will not be forgotten. Rest in Peace. My condolences to Carole and the rest of the Kurilla family.
