John Paul Aberle, 79, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018, at HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida

John was born to the late Paul and Lucy Aberle, on April 21, 1938, in Ohio. After graduation from college, John served briefly with the U.S. Army before returning to civilian life once more, and working nearly 20 years as a sales representative with the Oscar Mayer company. After leaving Oscar Mayer, John moved to Port Charlotte from his long time home in Pennsylvania, and took up employment in the Port Charlotte community to occupy his time. When not working, he enjoyed travel to various vacation destinations, spending time with his cats that were always called “Baby”, and collecting unclaimed bikes that could be used by someone who simply needed one.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his only sibling, a brother, in 1995.  John is however survived by many friends who loved him, and cherished his friendship.

A Memorial gathering celebrating John’s life will be held from 8 to 10 a.m., on Saturday, April 21st, 2018, at The Oaks III & IV 19505 Quesada Avenue, Port Charlotte, Florida, at the screened in recreation area by the pool.
