Joseph was born June 7, 1927 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania and moved to North Port 2 years ago from Myrtle Beach, S.C. He was a truck driver for a sales manufacturing company for many years before retiring to Florida. Joseph was a member of the Odd Fellows Club in Waterbury, CT. He was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed being around his friends. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Carmela C. Bernabi, two sons, Gary Bernabi of Cromwell, CT and Joseph R. Bernabi of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a daughter, Cynthia Minogue of Port Charlotte, FL; a sister, Florence Migliorisi of Waterbury, CT; a brother, Charles Bernabi of Prospect, CT; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
