I wanted to share a story about my Dad, that made me smile: I bought him a money plant for father's day and he planted it in his yard. We were visiting him and during his "scheduled" watering all the plants, He yelled out "Everyone, come here...you have got to see this!" We all run over to where he was (watering the money plant) and he pointed at the plant and said "I can't believe it...it really works!" ....He placed a couple of dollar bills on the plant and told us to pick them! The real funny part was Jayden commenting to his Pap saying " Wow Pap...Maybe there will be twenties next time!" Dad just laughed his hardy chuckle.... No matter what he was doing...he always thought of us. He wanted to make sure that we were taken care of. He had a heart of gold.

Joe was like my brother. He helped start and grow GDK, Inc (K=Korpa) and always looked after his clients, GDK and myself. He was extremely knowledgable and organized. I will miss him on a business and personal basis. He had a strong christian faith and he is both at peace and at home. Goodbye old friend, see you soon! Love in Christ, Don DeFurio

Joe, I've worked with you since the early 90's and I don't think until the last five years that I realized how wonderful that it was to work with you. Just like a child is with a parent, it takes years until they can look back and say now I understand why mom or dad did that. I know that I have shared with you how much I will miss working with you. I could always count on you to help me solve problems. You were very detail oriented and would always be right on top of everything. I will think of you everytime that I have a problem with accounts that you handled with me. What would Joe do.......... or I wish I could ask Joe ........ My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Love, Bobbie
