Josephine was born April 13, 1922 in Italy, to the late Maria (nee – Gardina) and Vincent Cino, and resided in Staten Island, New York with her husband Carmelo Piazza until relocating to Port Charlotte in 1981. She was a devoted wife, mother and great grandmother who will remain in the hearts and minds of her family and friends forever.
She is survived by her beloved children, daughter, Pastor Sarah Jansson of North Port, FL, and son, Charles Piazza of Cape Coral, FL; four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and several siblings, Josephine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Carmelo in January 2013.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11:00 A.M. with Funeral service beginning at 11:00 A.M. this Friday, June 13, 2014 at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens cemetery in Port Charlotte.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heart of Mercy Ministries, Inc., a non-profit organization feeding, clothing and ministering to those in need.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel.
