Julie Marie Fingerson, 34, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010 In Port Charlotte. Julie was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Dundalk, Maryland. She attended Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church and School and Dundalk High School where she graduated in 1993.
She relocated with her family, moving to Charlotte County, Florida later in
1993 and further to Grants Pass, Oregon where she was employed by Alpha Telecom and later a vice president of it’s sister company. She returned to Florida in 2002 with children and then husband, Scott Fingerson, where they resided in Port Charlotte.
Julie always loved art. As a young girl, she was an avid artist.
She loved books and designing and was a most loyal and dedicated friend to all those who knew her
Julie was a quiet girl and dedicated to her family. She was happy to lead a quiet life and surrounded herself with immediate family and friends. She enjoyed the park and was an avid viewer of crime-scene television and movies, particularly Alfred Hitchcock.
Julie’s life revolved around her twin daughters, Zoe and Rhyan, whom she described as her reason for living. She was their dedicated and doting companion. An excerpt from one of her writings describes her relationship with her children, “Rhyan and Zoe, you are the reason I do anything. You make the sun rise. You make the earth rotate. I love you more than anything. You are my greatest accomplishment. You are the greatest thing that I have done.
Julie will be desperately missed by her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life memorial service and reception will be held Thursday 6:30 PM, June 10, 2010. at Genesis Christian Chapel, 19150 Helena Avenue, across from Kiwanis Park in Port Charlotte. Friends are invited to attend to celebrate Julie’s life.
