June Weston Carpenter, 73, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
June was born March 7, 1948 in New York City, Brooklyn Borough, New York to the late Stanley Anthony and June Weston (Clark) Sadowski.  She was a retired accounts payable clerk for an airline food service company.  June owned and operated the Solana Sub Shop in Punta Gorda, Florida from 1989 to 2001. She moved to Port Charlotte in 2017 from Cleveland, TN.
She is survived by her loving family, two daughters, Kim Nichols of Aurora, CO and Christine Heil of Georgetown, TN; three sons, John A. Carpenter, Jr. of Port Charlotte, FL, Marc Carpenter of Salt Lake City, UT and Paul Carpenter of Port Charlotte, FL ; two sisters, Linda Milo of Port Charlotte, FL and Ruth Carpenter of North Port, FL; two brothers, Ronald Sadowski of North Port, FL and George Sadowski of Providence, RI; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John Alan Carpenter, Sr. who died August 1, 2021.
A private visitation for family and friends was held Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
