A great friend. A great person. She will be missed.
Rusty and I were so sad to hear the news about Karen. You all have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
Karen was a beautiful person inside and out.
Mark and Family - So sorry to hear about Karen. I have a lot of fond memories from the times we spent with you all in North Port Estates. Karen was always so warm and cheerful. My thoughts are with you.
Mark and Family,
We want y'all to know your extended family, here in Monroe, Louisiana and also in Rowlett, Texas, mourn the loss of Karen. She was a fine person and a great matriarch of our family in Florida. What I remember most of Karen is that she loved her family. And was rightfully proud of all of you. We pray that our Lord comforts you in this time of great loss.
Y'all were nice enough to drop by Monroe en route to Texas, to take the time to see me and honor me with a picture with your family as I held Mark and Karen's grandson, Jack (my father's namesake) as a young boy, and my eldest son Jacob was by my side. I cherish that picture and the memory of your kindness of your family visit.
May God be with you.
Respectfully, Tim, Wendy, Jacob, Curphey, and Zachary Hardin, and my mom, your aunt Delores Hardin
Just wanted to say that Karen was one of the nicest people we had ever met. Every time we would come into her Insurance Agency we would always end up talking for an hour or two about family and other things. She loved all her family dearly and always treated her customers like family. I will miss seeing her friendly smile and hearing her laugh. Heaven sure did get an angel.
Our prayers go out to the whole family.
Bobby and Wanda Hughston
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dear Mark and family,
We never met Karen, but feel like we know a little about her through Justin and Katie. Just looking at her beautiful face and smile, we can see the resemblence in Katie. We know Katie and Rebecca and Sarah have learned well from their mom. You and your girls have many good things to remember. You have all been such an inspiration to everyone through your faithfullness to God. I am so very sorry about your loss.
Dear Mark and family,
We only knew Karen through her brother Larry who is a valued memeber of our team here at Price International. Many of us were aware of Karen illness and were praying for her and the family. You will continue to be in our prayers.
Please accept our condolences.
Wish we could be there with you but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers over the next days and months. Karen's life and challenges over the last few months touched so many people that you will never know, and I believe that God will use that to bring others to Him. Love to you from all my family: Jace, Donna & Jordan Goodnight; Josh, Anna, Sadie and Aubrey Melton; Tony and Susan Sulser; Amber, Dan, Bella and Krista Ford.
Mark,
I have not found the words to express my thoughts and feelings to you and yours.
I saw this quote on a Mark Twain memorial and it stuck with me.
Death is the starlit strip between the companionship of yesterday and the reunion of tomorrow.
Daniel
Thoughts and prayers are with you Larry and your family in this time of loss.
Dear Sarah, Chris & family,
We will continue praying for you as you cope with the passing of Karen. May our Lord comfort you as only He can.
We love you,
Tammy & Russ Goodwin

Mark, I am sorry for your loss. I thought the world of Karen and I missed y'all when you moved years ago. I will always be grateful for the time that y'all were in our lives. Karen was always bubbly and had such a beautiful smile. Heaven is sweeter today because she is there. I know that my Dad probably lit up when he saw her. I met Karen years ago as a teenage girl looking for a part-time job. My mom worked for them at a store they owned at the time in Crowville, LA. Karen was always bubbly and full of cheer. My family always thought a lot of Karen & Mark. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. I hate that I had just reconnected with her on facebook but did not know about her situation. I was looking forward to sharing with her. Mark if you see this I am so sorry for your loss. My mom said she was sorry also. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Love to y'all. Lee Ann
It has been many years since i saw my cousin Karen, but have followed her struggles through Donna and Linda. Just seeing her picture brought a flood of memories of us kids playing while growing up, and I will always remember Karen for how incredibly sweet and kind she was.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
I didn't know Karen but my best friend is Linda Jeter and I have kept up with her battle through Linda. I am praying for her family. She certainly was a trooper from all I have seen through Linda. Praying for her family during this most difficult time.
Karen always had a beautiful smile and kind words.
I know she has stopped her lifes stuggles and is at last at home in Gods loving arms.
And let me share this with Karen's family:
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Comfort in Suffering
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the merciful Father, the God who gives all encouragement. He it is who comforts us in all our trials; and it is this encouragement we ourselves receive from God which enables us to comfort others, whenever they have trials of their own.
May the family find shelter in Gods perfect peace.
Karen was a blessing in my life. She always had a smile to share and a laugh to lift a spirit. We are honored to have been call friend, and to have been able to have shared good times and our faith together down this journey we call life. Just another chapter now closes, but Karen will be waiting for us all on onother one on the glorious streets of gold! Rest in peace my dear sister, we love you.
Mark, May God's grace surround and support each of you. I am so very sorry to hear of Karen's passing. I have wonderful memories of you both. I carry you in my heart and in my prayers. Love, Shelley

I just learned the sad news of Karen's passing. She was my 'Big Sister" in San Souci Sorority at TJC. She was a beautiful person. Mark and family, my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. I lost my Mother to leukemia so I understand what you have been through.
God Bless.
Karen was a very sweet lady and we know she will be missed by alot of family and friends. As we told you all before we left we are Praying for you all each and every day. We are sorry we couldn't stay for the services, but we had to head home. Our hearts were with you and are still with each day. May God bless you with peace and comfort in all the days to come. Love you all. Larry & Donna
She was a wonderful person and will be missed.
As Karen's early childhood friend, we shared many dreams and aspirations about marriage and raising a family. We laughed and cried together the way young girls do. Karen grew into an amazing Wife and Mother and I see she touched the lives of many. She was truly a light to us all and I will hold her in my heart forever.
We only knew Karen a short time she was our insurance agent when we first moved to north port and she was an very informative and kind person she will be missed greatly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
We feel blessed to have known Karen and Mark and their wonderful family through our close friendship with Justin and Katie Box and George and Linda Box. There are no words that could convey the loss that is felt when someone is loved as much as Karen and is called home to be with her Lord and Savior. The moments we were able to see Karen and their family it was evident her family was a blessing to her and she was a blessing to them. Please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers throughout the coming days and the wonderful times you shared as a family will always remain in your heart. Love always, Tom and Carolyn Kupiec, Craig and Kate Kupiec, Shannon, Amy, and Riley Dean.
I hold you in my heart....Philippians 1:7
Karen was a beautiful woman with the most beautiful eyes. She and I were in the same pledge class at TJC in 1972. I am so thankful that i have these memories.
I will be praying for the family and may God bless!
I am heart broken to learn of Karen's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of her as we hung out in the front yard on larkspur. She always had a smile on her face and deeply loved her family. She was a sweet dear friend that I had just reconnected with on Facebook recently. I thank God for getting to talk to her a few times. Mark, Sarah, Katie and Rebecca I am so sorry for your great loss and I pray that the peace that passes all understanding will be yours.
We are proud to have known you and are very sad your life was cut short. We know you are in a better place with no more pain and suffering. You will be missed.
