Karl Gillies, 67, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte. He was born May 11, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Port Charlotte in 1972 from West Bloomfield, MI. Karl was a member of Agape Int’l Church of God 7th day Church. He was a loving brother and friend.
Survived by his Sister, Isabelle (Laurie) Tulk of Commerce Township, MI; Niece Tara (David) Kollar, Nephews, Robin Tulk ,Mark Tulk both from Michigan; Cousins, Jean (Robert) Ward of Nevada,Grace, Isbel Gillies of Michigan; Grand Nieces, Tranna (Phillip) Totten, Bria; Grand Nephews Robert, Colin; Great Grand Nephew, Devon; caregivers and friends, Julliet (Radcliff ) Beckford of Port Charlotte.
Visitation will be Thursday, 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a funeral service at 11:00 am at Roberson Funeral Home Punta Gorda Chapel. Interment will follow at Charlotte Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda. Rev. Clive Lindo will officiate.
