A Memorial service celebrating Kathy’s life will be held 5 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Roberson Funeral Homes’ Punta Gorda Chapel, at 215 Mary Street.

Kathy Leah Feister, 57, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 in Port Charlotte.

Born March 4, 1959 in Michigan, Kathy moved to Southwest Florida at a young age, graduating from Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda.  A loving friend, mother and grandmother, Kathy began working for Elena’s Restaurant in Punta Gorda when Elena’s opened its doors more than 20 years ago.  She was Christian.

She is survived by her beloved children, James H. (Shannon) Wieckhorst, Jr. of Arcadia, FL, and Melanie (Donald) Moree of Punta Gorda, FL; two grandchildren, Anastasia and Alyssa Moree; her mother, Carol (nee-Siegel) Feister of Arcadia, FL; brothers, David Siegel and Mike Feister; a sister, Sherry Feister; her friend and companion of 18 years, Chris Hardwick of Port Charlotte, FL, and numerous extended family members and friends.  Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Feister.

A Memorial service celebrating Kathy’s life will be held 5 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Roberson Funeral Homes’ Punta Gorda Chapel, at 215 Mary Street.
