Larry O. Choiniere, 77, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at his Punta Gorda residence.

Larry was born on October 27, 1946, in Vermont, one of three sons to the late Lucille and Ovide Choiniere. After graduating from High School, he joined the United States Air Force. While serving in the military, he learned to drive big transport trucks, and after his time in the Air Force, he returned to civilian life with his new skills to handle commercial long haul big-rig trucks, a career he continued with until his retirement. He met and went on to marry his wife of 44 years, Marjorie, and together they relocated to Charlotte County prior to hurricane Charlie.

He is survived by his beloved and loving wife Marjorie Choiniere; four children, daughters Jawn Marie Pond, Katheryn Lynn Pond, and Kelly Sue Pond; a son, Warren Phillip Pond; brothers Ronald “Ron” Choiniere, and Rodney Choiniere; and many extended family members and friends.
