Larry Paul Chatfield, 70, of North Port, Florida died on February 4, 2024, in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Larry was born on September 14, 1953, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Wilma Mae(Lanum) and Paul Franklin Chatfield.

Larry started his working career as a police officer for many years. He moved to Florida and then became an investigator for the Department of Professional Regulations for the State of Florida.  Larry loved to sing with his beautiful voice and play his guitar, for almost 18 years at Sonshine Baptist Church, In Port Charlotte, Florida. He loved to fish, play music, and ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Anyone who knew Larry loved his sense of humor and quick wit.

Larry is survived by his wife Joyce of 28 years, daughter Alicia Simo(George) of Port Charlotte, Florida, son, Russell Miller of Englewood, Florida and grandchildren, Justin Paul Simo, and Kaylee Marie Miller.

A memorial Service by the family will be held at Sonshine Baptist Church, 23105 Veterans Blvd, Port Charlotte, Florida 33954 on February 18, 2024, at 3:00pm.
