Laurence T. Campbell, 74, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Monday, March 30, 2026 at HCA Florida Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.

Laurence AKA Larry was a great husband and family man. He was greatly loved by his wife of 45 years. He enjoyed Christmas and spent hours on the internet or shopping to make sure his grandchildren got what they wanted. He enjoyed watching them open each gift. He taught his daughter how to drive a manual vehicle in the local parking lots and helped coach her softball team. He was so proud to be able to walk her down the aisle when she got married. Everyone who knew Larry knew he loved sports, especially his Penn State University Nitty Lions and his Philadelphia Eagles. He loved to play pickleball and would tell his wife how well he did on the courts. Larry will be remembered by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jo-Anna; his daughter, Michelle (John) Purcell; his 2 grandchildren, Liam and Olivia; his brother, James Campbell and many nieces and nephews and his lifetime friend, Dave. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Catherine Campbell, his brother, Jack and sister, Catherine.

A visitation will be held 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
