Cindy & Brett, Rory and Sena, so sorry for your loss, at this time of year especially! Kerry and I will send a donation to SPLC in honor of your dad’s many good works. Enjoy this photo of Larry… already in costume!

Larry was a hoot, with his imaginary dog on a leash! We were in a play together - Squabbles - I was Mrs Fisher, the stern baby nurse who hated everyone except the baby, and Larry was the gardener. Larry did "accents" extremely well. Every time he would sidle up to me saying "Mrs Feesher" in a broad Spanish accent, I was supposed to rudely brush him aside. There was never a dull moment with Larry - it was always a laugh a minute. I'm sure he is creating 'joyful chaos' up there with the angels. He was truly "Everyman" - his talents were legendary. He played Santa at the Cultural Center for many years. I remember one memorable incident when I was standing next to Santa for the obligatory picture with Santa. He created a small ruckus insisting that I sit on his lap for the photo!!! The onlookers got into the act and shouted for me to do as told! And I did. I still have that picture somewhere with me leaning away from Santa who is leering up at me!! He did "leering" very well, to the delight of the crowd. I will miss you Larry, along with a host of your friends, family and well wishers. What a legacy of love and laughter you are leaving behind!! Go Give 'em Hell, Larry. We love you.

My first encounter with Larry was on stage as Larry was late for his entrance...rest room issues. You had to laugh...he was a clown on stage and in life....but always caring and concerned about others. He was convinced we could put a one man show together...iwhen I showed him the script of Give em Hell Harry. He said I could do it and he would direct and I would act. I was doubtful..He was optimistic...The play premiered in october of 2011. and after 100 performances is still going strong as we begin 2025. He will be missed. I remember going into his kitchen to get a glass of water and seeing two tall towers of twinkies. He said they were emergancy meds for his diabetes..⁰He said he heard they were going to stop making them. Always prepared. I believe he is now showing off his shiny wings and looking for a twinkie...and a script for me when I join him once again on stage.

Oh the fun we had. FGCU in Punta Gorda, Pioneer Pizza and the Right to Read festival in Venice. I will miss that wonderfully goof ball humor and sparkle in your eyes!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Theater was where my lfe made contact with Larry......you might say head on contact. Larry was like that....A clown lookin for a stage. We were in the zone...we did whose on first in his living room....I was of course the straight man. We performed together in several shows....the most fun in Harvey. Then there was Give em Hell Harry. He would direct and I would play President Harry S Truman... The combo was a success. Over 100 performances to date and still going.strong. Thumbs up my friend. Never forget going in your kitchen for a glass of water and seeing rwo high stacks of twinkie.s.Thats my diabetes meds he said. Adding they may stop making them I may not know who's on first, but I know who's lighting the candles and giving out the sacred components of communion..Yep you got your wings my friend....hope they give you a key to the costume shop.. Maybe we can do It's a Wonderful Life. Together.....look for the scripts
