I remember the times we used to sit in the shop office and talk about kids and families and the good times we had. And we did have some good times. We kind of drifted apart, but I hope we were still good friends. I'll miss you, my friend.

Adele, Andrea, Matt, other family members, & friends; Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you, we are deeply saddened to hear of Larry's death. For many years that we lived in Port Charlotte, we were best of friends. We moved away and as time faded away, so had our times together. From Saturday night nickel-dime-quarter poker games with progressive cards and pots (cannot forget the Sambuca night cap with a coffee bean), to spending entire days on the boat and beaches of Southwest Florida, to sharing the birth of you heroic son Matthew, and watching your children both grow up to be the wonderful adults they have become. Our fond memories of the healthy and fun days we will always cherish. Celebrate Larry's life during these difficult and sad days. With our love and prayers, Phil & Donna

Larry has been a very important friend to me for the last 25 years. He taught me many things about cars that I use every day.He is one of the very few people that I have known that can truly be counted on and trusted. I watched him become a concerned father about Mat going into the service to a very proud father because he did. I will miss Larry and know we have all lost a special friend.

It not enough just to say the amount of trust and loyalty that your customers have spoken of around me, when refering to you. So I will share a fun common memory that I remember with you. A typical day backing into LP's would entail Larry popping his head out of his mechanic shop bay, asking... "Does it run?" To which I'd say I'm not the mechanic! lol or something other witty... or if I knew we'd go from there and our convo always wound up on current events and or Baseball... he kept up a lot more than I with the happenings in the MLB. I can hear him saying "how bout them Yanks"... and so on. Larry was and is a well liked Man, a kind of man that seemed to love providing for his family, he could take some time for vacation and come back to a pile of cars in front of his bays, people would wait for his return and I'd hear them say things like "I trust Larry" "nobody else works on my car" YUP! He seemed to know how to strike a balance, all the while doing our community a great service with such integrity and enthusiasm that others could easily sense the great pride and responsibility he had for their safety and best interests. I know there is a special place reserved for you Larry and that you've passed on leaving behind your tools but satisfied in your trade of helping others!

We knew Larry for 8 years when we moved down from NY. He was the first mechanic that I was referred to when I moved here. We have 6 children and Larry knew how important it was for us to always have a working vehicle. When we made long trips he was the first to point out any safety issues on the vehicle. He always took care of us! From that point on we became good friends. He was a loving, caring man with a strong work ethic and always treated us with kindness We will miss him dearly! We love you Larry....... Please accept our most sincere condolences and know that you are all in our prayers.
