Lesma J. Mackey, 92, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Englewood Healthcare and Rehab. She was born November 1, 1916 In St. Ann’s, Jamaica, West Indies and moved to Port Charlotte in 1995 from Naples, FL. She was a retired housekeeper working in the hotel industry and was a Catholic.

Survived by her loving daughter, Yasmine Rouse of Pembroke Pines, FL. two nieces, Pearline Thurston and Eva Pate both of Brooklyn, NY; three grand nieces, Linda Cato Hinds of West Palm, FL, Maxine Taylor of North Port, Jacqueline Chinque of Brooklyn; two Grand nephews, Kinsley Chinque and Anthony Chinque both of Brooklyn; a great nephew, Winston Cato; a brother in law and sister in law, Mr. & Mrs. George Mackey of Port Charlotte.
