Linda Marie Forrest, 73 of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully on February 24, 2024, at Tidewell Hospice, Port Charlotte, Florida.
Linda was born September 26, 1950, in Brockton, Massachusetts, to the late Harry and Marie Bozoian. She moved to Port Charlotte in 2018 with her husband. Linda worked for Waste Management for 23 years where she was a billing manager, prior to retiring.
Linda’s favorite times were entertaining friends and family, she was a fantastic cook and immensely enjoyed cooking for the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. She also enjoyed indoor and outdoor games, recipe hunting, movies, reading books and lounging by the pool. But her overall favorite thing was spending time with family and friends. Linda also had a deep love of animals, often-times feeding the wild cats outside her home and on vacations. Her cat Buddy will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gregg Forrest of Port Charlotte. Her two sons, Rodney (Erin) Lynch of Charleston, South Carolina and Edward (Wendy) Lynch of Punta Gorda, Florida, her three step-children, Brianne Biastoff, of Nashua, New Hampshire, Nicole (Sebastian) Krauz, of Canaan, Connecticut, Matthew (Marissa) Forrest of Colorado Springs, Colorado , her granddaughter, Brittany Lynch of Weymouth, Massachusetts, her step-grandchildren Morgan, Emiline, Adaline and Everly, her brother, Thomas (Judy) Bozoian of Davenport, Florida and her sister, Suzanne (Paul) Zakrzewski of Abington, Massachusetts. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
