Loretta S. Haering, 93, of Port St. Lucie, Florida and former resident of Punta Gorda, Florida died Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Port St. Lucie.

Loretta was born January 24, 1926 in Bronx, New York to the late Herman and Loretta Schlomann. She was a retired bank teller and moved to Florida in 1998 with her late husband John from Montague, New Jersey.

She is survived by her loving family, three daughters, Nancy Smith, Linda Frank and Diane Javonillo; a son, John Raymond Haering; a brother, Herbert Schlomann; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, John Stanley Haering who died last month on May 20th.

The best years of my life was spent on the Haering’s property in their pigeon coop or listening to aRays band playing music in the back yard. Stan the man was always smiling and a very nice person. Loretta gave us snacks as we played. They were the King and Queen of Midland Ave right behind Al and Marcie Green. They were a great couple and they will be missed by all. I know the kids very well so here’s to Nancy (fish#1) Linda (fish #2) Diane and Ray May your memories take you thru the hard days ahead.
