Louis was born to St. Juste and Thelusna Elysee on February 10, 1918 in Port Au Prince, Haiti. Louis was a wonderful man and will forever be missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is survived by his 3 sons, Yves Elysee of West Palm Beach, FL, Jean Rene Elysee of Germany and Wilner Elysee of Belle Glade, FL; 2 daughters, Jeanet Deronvil of Winter Haven, FL and Eltha Elysee of West Palm Beach, FL; a sister, Alida Elysee of Haiti; in laws, Danielle Williams Robinson of VA, Marie L. Williams of NJ, Gabriel Williams of VA and Ivon Williams of NJ; 3 nieces, Leonne Manigat of Port Charlotte, FL, Leonie Cantave of Boston, MA and Claudia Micius of New York, NY; 20 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and nephews, Jean Billy Elysee, Gesner Elysee and Jules Elysee.
Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Eben Ezer Haitian Baptist Church, 17195 Oakleaf Ave. Port Charlotte, FL 33953. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte, FL.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel.
