Louis was born November 20, 1919 in Central Falls, Rhode Island and moved to Punta Gorda in 1984 from Randolph, N.J. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea serving proudly for the US Air Force. He was a member of the Twin Isles Country Club and former member of the Punta Gorda Isles Yacht Club. He worked as a Comptroller for American Standard as well as a Systems Analyst for Picatinny Arsenal both in New Jersey. He was an avid golfer, photographer, skier, boater and tennis player. He will truly be missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is survived by his Daughter, Alice (Ron) Baker of Darnestown, MD; a son, Dr. Michael Glaiel of Springfield, MA; a sister, Jeanette Nadeem of MA; and four grandchildren, Ron, Jr. and Paul Baker and Tyler and Cody Glaiel. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice and brother George.
