Louis Henyecz, 75, of North Port, Florida died Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Bayfront
Health-Port Charlotte, Florida.
Affectionately known as “Grumpy or “Chirpy”, Louis was born August 7, 1942 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to the late Louis and Florence Henyecz. He was retired from the Woodridge Township School District in New Jersey. He moved to Florida 10 years ago from Edison, NJ with his wife. Grumpy enjoyed working on cars and got to travel to many places in the world. He especially liked cruising with his family.
Louis is survived by his loving family, his wife of 54 years, Lucille A. Henyecz; two daughters, Laura (Shaun) Gribben of Port Charlotte, FL and Monique (Jose) Estevez of New Brunswick, NJ; a son, Louis P. (Rene) Henyecz or Port Charlotte; a sister, Florette Pastor of Woodbridge, NJ; and 7 grandchildren, Ryan and Brianna Henyecz; Shannon and Skylar Gribben; and Alexa, A.J. and Serena Estevez.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33948. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
