Louis Anthony Molinari, 85, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Monday, August 24, 2009 in Port Charlotte.
He was born November 7, 1923 in Corona, New York and moved to Port Charlotte in 1988 from North Babylon, NY. He was a retired television repair technician for RCA and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving in the China Burma India Theater. . Member of American Legion Post #110 in Port Charlotte. Louis was a six time senior Olympian gold medal winner and an avid golfer. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather and will be missed very much.
Survived by two daughters, Marianne(husband, Kevin) Burch of Medford, NY and Deborah (husband, Jeff) Walsh of Port Charlotte; two sons, Louis(wife, Olga) Molinari of Chandler, AZ and Michael(wife, Annie) Molinari of Sayville, NY; a sister, Jennie Costello of Brentwood, NY; 11 grandchildren; Preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Ann Molinari in 2001.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the funeral services at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Restlawn Chapel. Rev. Robert B. Mattingly will officiate Interment with military honors by American Legion Post #110 will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte.
