Peace and blessings to the family. I would like to take this opportunity and extend my condolences to the Ruiz Family. Luis will be truly missed. I was blessed with the opportunity to have known my brother Luis over 30 years. Also, was blessed to have worked with him in a Correctional Institution. He was humble and caring human being. Respectfully Submitted, Supreme N. Blackshear.

Me: *laughs hysterically, while trying to ask him why* Uncle Louie, the playful way you went about life should of one they teach in Life Classes 101. But, your intoxicating laugh is one they could neva teach. Thank you, for the countless laughs and memories, Tio.

Some people are just super special. You can tell their impact by how they're remembered by the ones they leave behind. Uncle Louie was fun, funny and easy going. He was welcoming and kind; warm without being soft. There was ease, joy and comfort in his presence. His laugh was infectious & unforgettable. While he wasn't my actual uncle- he was my uncle. He was a GRAND man. The world is less without him. Desiree, Marisol, Carmen, Ruiz sisters and the entire family - I'm sorry for the hole left behind. May memories give you joy and God bring you comfort in the saddest of times.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
