M. Jeannette Biddle, 84, of Punta Gorda, Florida, died Thursday night, October 30, 2008, at Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Born on March 26, 1924 in Wabash County, Indiana, Jeannette lived in Columbia City, Indiana and the Indianapolis area before moving to Punta Gorda in 1988 after retiring from F. C. Tucker Realty and a 20 year plus career in residential real estate. She was an active member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority, Eastern Star, B.P.O. Elks, and the Republican Party. Jeannette was also very involved in education while raising 7 children, volunteering as home room mother, Teacher’s Aide, and Teacher’s Substitute. She carried through her life, a love of gardening and animals, always finding time to toil in nature’s beauty and rescue gods creatures.
Survivors include her beloved children, daughters Susan Foster and Jo Biddle, and sons Michael, Jeffrey, Jonathan, James, and Philip (Andy) Biddle; 10 grand, 16 great grand, and 2 great, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, and her husband.
