Marc A. Miller, 76, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Born in Muncie, Indiana in 1947, Marc lived most of his life in Selma, Indiana.  Following high school, he joined the Army where he served 3yrs., most of that time he spent stationed in Germany.  He went to work for General Motors upon returning to Muncie and retired from the Marion GM plant in 1999, where he was a machine repairman.  In his spare time, he managed to build two houses and helped two of his friends build their own homes.  He loved to bird hunt and raised and trained German short haired pointers. His love of fishing brought him to Punta Gorda, FL where he fulfilled his dream of becoming a charter boat captain.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marian; sons Marc II (Tabatha), and Thorsten Ostrander; two grandsons, Chandler and Logan; a sister Dawn; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother Opal and sister Ellen.
