Marc F. Kopa, 58, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011 at home.

Marc was born February 1, 1953 in Schenectady, New York and moved to Port Charlotte in 2005 from there. He was employed at Sam’s Club in Port Charlotte since 2005 and later worked as a food distributor for Crossmark. Marc was a great person and will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Survivors include his loving mother, Esther M. Kopa of North Port, FL; his sister, Donna M. (Bryon) Kopa-Clemons of North Port, FL and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
